Terms and Conditions

Hideaway Edge – Booking & Terms

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay. By completing a booking, you agree to all rules and policies below.

Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking fee is required to confirm your booking.
  • The full balance is due 28 days before arrival.
  • Cancellations after the full balance is due are non-refundable.

Arrival & Departure

  • All campers and vehicles must be back on-site by 11:00pm.
  • Standard arrivals should be before 6:00pm.
  • Guests leaving for local activities (e.g., restaurant or pub) may return after dark but before 11:00pm:
    • Park along the left-hand hedgerow and walk to your pitch.
  • Vehicles may not be driven across the field after dark.
  • Early departures should be planned in advance, with vehicles parked along the hedgerow.

Quiet Hours (10:00pm – 8:00am)

During quiet hours, guests must:

  • Keep noise to a minimum.
  • Turn off all music or use headphones.
  • Keep voices low.
  • Avoid starting engines or moving vehicles unless returning before 11:00pm.

Vehicle Safety & Speed

  • Maximum driving speed on-site: 5 mph (8 km/h).
  • Vehicles must not be driven across the field after dark; driving may resume after 8:00am.
  • Watch carefully for pedestrians, tents, and uneven ground.

On-Site Safety

  • Use a torch or headlamp when walking after dark.
  • Take care on uneven ground.
  • The entrance gate is closed but unlocked, and may be opened in emergencies.

Site Conduct & Leave as You Find

  • Respect wildlife, fellow campers, and neighbours at all times.
  • Leave your pitch clean, tidy, and free of rubbish.
  • Behaviour likely to disturb others, damage the site, or leave the pitch untidy may result in being asked to leave without refund.

Liability

Hideaway Edge and its staff are not responsible for:

  • Damage or theft of personal property
  • Accidents caused by failure to follow safety rules
  • Weather-related disruptions or natural events

Amendments

Hideaway Edge reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Guests should review the latest version before arrival.

Acceptance of Terms

By completing a booking, guests agree to all Terms & Conditions above, including quiet hours, vehicle rules, arrival times, leave-as-you-find obligations, and payment/cancellation policies.
